About Us

Covered Bridge Brewing Group is comprised of local friends with a vision to bring craft beer, coffee and house-made beverages to the community of Cottage Grove.

We have plenty of room inside and out with ample social distancing space! We want our customers to not only be safe and healthy, but feel safe coming into our tasting room. We work to continually sanitize and maintain a fun and safe space for all to enjoy.

We have two outdoor seating areas, our front patio area complete with custom bike racks after a long day’s ride; and our back beer garden, which partners with local food trucks, that brings a variety of local flavor pairings together with our craft beverages.

Our vision is that our community will have a place to work and gather, in an inviting space, with quality service. We want everyone to relax while connecting and enjoying conversation with friends and family, while having some of the finest locally crafted beer, coffee, and uniquely flavored house-made sodas and beverages.

Nate Sampson, our award-winning craft brewer, is creating signature beers, ciders, and sodas brewed in-house with the finest local northwest ingredients.

We also source locally, as we also live and play in Cottage Grove, and we hope to showcase all that Cottage Grove has to offer. Our location on the corner of Highway 99 and Main Street is the gateway to the historic downtown district, making us a destination location!

Chrissy Chapman

Accounting Finance Manager

Being raised by a family of entrepreneurs, from my great-grandparents, grandparents, and parents, it is no wonder I am an entrepreneur! I grew up in the family businesses and knew that I wanted to be in business for myself. However, when it was time to pick a major in college, entrepreneur was not a choice. So, I chose business administration, with a major in accounting, as I have a passion and drive for business.

I have been doing accounting and taxes most of my working life, but not enjoying what I do. One day, in my young 20’s on a trip up to South Lake Tahoe, my brother and I stumbled upon the Brewery at Lake Tahoe. I was floored that they brewed their own beers, as I didn’t know that was a thing! I always thought the only beer available was what the store had to offer. Ever since that day, I found my passion for craft beer. In my travels, I would seek out breweries to try their brews.

Many years later, I met a wonderful brewer, Nate, at the brewery I was working at as a bartender. Nate and I are now partners in life and have partnered in our venture to open a local small-town brewery and coffee house to serve our great little town of Cottage Grove, Oregon, utilizing my passion for business, craft beer, and coffee!
